Producer NOTTZ to create Soundtrack for Hip-Hop Film 'RPM'

Producer Nottz is taking his production skills to the big screen. The Norfolk, Virginia beatsmith - best known for production on records by Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and The Game - has been tapped to score the upcoming hip-hop flick Revolutions Per Minute.

Directed by Tim Gregory, the film follows a rapper named Billy da Kid who tries to maintain his buzz in the constantly shifting hip-hop universe. Set in 1998, the plot focuses on the up-and-comer as he tailors his sound to be more mainstream, only to discover his voice in the Parisian ghetto after falling in love with a French pianist.
