Smoke-A-Lot spitter Kuzzo Fly is on a mission to take his brand nationwide. The Bay Area veteran has been a fixture on the West Coast scene after appearing on numerous compilations, features, mixtapes, and even releasing a DVD. His 2008 offering "Quit Hatin On The Bay (Bay Kountry Smoke Edition)" is an underground classic, and he's preparing for the release of "Old Guns, New Money" on Smoke-A-Lot. We politicked with Kuzzo for a Q & A session.

How did you meet Yukmouth, and how did that lead to you getting signed to Smoke-A-Lot?

I've known Yuk for years. After I left Thizz, I was working with Big Cheeze. I posted a song titled "You Aint Gone Do Nothing" on Myspace. Yuk heard it and liked it, he wanted to jump on it. He asked me what was my situation was as far as my career was concerned. I told him I was in limbo, and he offered me an opportunity to join him at Smoke-A-Lot. I accepted his offer and we been rockin' ever since that point.
