Meet Miss Marianna Music
Setting a new standard where the voice of the female emcee has been long deferred, Miss Marianna is infinite in diversity. She has performed from California to New York, became a finalist in the world’s famous Showtime at the Apollo, opened for hip hop artist Common, guest featured on Bay area’s own Zion I’s overseas release track titled “Act Right”, and recently performed at LA’s own The Palmer Room. Miss Marianna is Cali’s Own reigning Queen of the Mic ChampionTell us about your career thus far?
At a young age the arts appealed to me as a way to escape hard times. Once I heard an applause, using my imagination and finding a stage was my goal. Throughout high school I was eager to blossom as a hip hop artist where I ventured deeper into my rhymes and music. Today my zest for arts and culture has given me the opportunity to become a master of ceremony, as a poet, emcee, and public speaker. I pride myself on versatility, creativity, and content.
My career thus far has been an exciting learning process filled with the bitter and the sweet. But there’s something about this journey that keeps me growing and grateful for the lessons that are improving my skill, tenacity, and character.
