Freddie Gibbs' Str8 Slammin Fam Back To School Rally & Block Party
Many schools in Gary Indiana are closing & boast a graduation rate of 48%. Freddie Gibbs' Str8 Slammin Fam are showing the community and the kids they care. The campaign is led by Str8 Slammin members D Edge and Trill, with the help of the City of Gary, The Gary Fire Dept, Chicago's leading rap site FakeShoreDrive (Andrew Barber,) and other community businesses. We are determined to show the youth and the parents that we support their success. We will be providing schools supplies, numerous raffles, games, music and entertainment. The day will be filled with horse rides, a moonwalk for kids, a Fire Dept Safe House, Food, educational games, and a concert with a special guest to end the day. Our goal is to support our kids. Without them we have no real future! This is a free event and will be held annually. This is our way of showing the youth that education is the only way out of their poverty and out of the streets. We are excepting donations of school supplies, promotional materials, and any help to make this a success. Anyone looking to donate school supplies or any help please contact trillbiz@gmail.com. Again this is a free event and its all about our future! See you August 13th!!
