50 Cent Friday's: Flight 187 & Hold Me Down
Everyone's got a weekly release series these days, almost like a Facebook fan page. We here at D & D thought, why not us? The only problem is that we don't make music, so we turned to our namesake for inspiration. After a small pow-wow it was agreed to begin a series of an artist who has a limitless catalogue and the ability to combine with a day of the week alliteratively. So 50 Cent Friday's was born. This week features 2 tracks from the underrated Before I Self Destruct. The first, Flight 187 was a bonus track on the iTunes edition, and the latter available on all editions, is for my money one of the finest tributes to firearms that the genre's birthed.
